Run the numbers
before you run the meeting.
Three questions come up in almost every first call, and all three are arithmetic. What is left after dividend tax. Whether the microenterprise regime still beats standard corporate tax at your turnover. What formation actually costs once the state fees and the forgotten line items are added in.
Why these three
Answers you need
before engaging anyone.
A founder deciding whether Romania works usually does not need advice first. They need a figure. The advice comes after, once the figure has ruled options in or out. Publishing the arithmetic openly is faster for everyone than answering the same three questions by email.
Each calculator states its assumptions on the page and uses the rates in force for 2026. They return indicative figures, not a filing position. Where your case turns on something the model does not carry — treaty relief on an outbound distribution, mid-year regime changes, a shareholder resident elsewhere — the calculator will tell you it has reached its edge rather than quietly guess.

one question each.

Dividends · CASS
Dividend tax and CASS calculator
What lands in my account after Romanian dividend tax and health contributions?
Takes a gross distribution and returns the net figure after dividend withholding and the CASS health contribution, including which of the minimum-wage tiers your distribution crosses. The tier is the part founders miss: CASS is not proportional, it steps.

Tax regime
Microenterprise vs standard CIT
At what turnover does the 1% microenterprise regime stop being the cheaper option?
Compares tax on turnover under the microenterprise regime against 16% corporate income tax on profit, at your revenue and margin. Shows the crossover point and the €100,000 turnover ceiling that forces the switch regardless.

Formation
SRL formation cost estimator
What does it actually cost to get a Romanian SRL registered and operating?
Separates the service fee from the Romanian state fees charged at cost, then adds the items founders forget: registered office, VAT registration, translations, and the first months of accounting. One total, itemised.

A figure is
not a decision.
Reading
Every figure here is explained at length in the Insights library — the statutory basis, the thresholds, and the cases where the general rule does not hold.
Scope and price
Formation and banking fees are published in full on Pricing. The formation estimator uses those same figures, so the two will not disagree.
Engagement
When the arithmetic points somewhere, Services sets out what we do and how a mandate runs. One senior advisor per case, scope agreed in writing.
